The Síndic de Greuges of the Valencian Region organized a Conference on Poverty and Social Exclusion on 27 January 2011. The meeting gathered more than 200 people. Its aim was to make the audience think about the different aspects of poverty and the problems that it entails: poor housing conditions or housing shortage; limited access to health care and education; financial exclusion and excessive indebtedness; or limited access to new technologies.

Due to the large number of people who could not attend the conference because of capacity reasons, the síndic places at your disposal the video and some of the speeches that took place during the meeting (published in the original language).
